NORDAC LINK – decentralised variety of interfaces

With its NORDAC LINK series decentralised frequency inverters, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS offers an efficient drive solution for fast and flexible installation close to the motor. In addition to the powerful integrated PLC, it is above all the large variety of interfaces making this frequency inverter a communication talent and a versatile frequency inverter.

With power ratings to 7.5 kW, the SK 250E decentralised frequency inverter from the NORDAC LINK series can process data from connected sensors and actuators, initiate control sequences, communicate drive and application data to the control centre or transmit networked components as well as communicate status data via the control system or into existing clouds. In order to manage this, they are not only freely configurable and compatible with all common bus systems, but also equipped with numerous interfaces that are easily accessible without the use of tools via user-friendly plug connectors. In addition to a looped-through mains connection for power supply and a plug-in motor connection, the NORDAC LINK frequency inverter has more than twelve coded M12 slots for bus systems, STO, encoder and sensors. A communication interface for maintenance and configuration is accessible via a RJ12 port. Alternatively, a USB port can also be used. The device is equipped with LED indicator lights to indicate the signal statuses of the relevant option slot. Additionally integrated LED status displays act as diagnostic LEDs. The frequency inverter can be extended with up to two additional SK CU4 option modules.
