NORD at the IFFA 2022 in Frankfurt

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS will be presenting its solutions for the meat industry from 14th to 19th May 2022 in Frankfurt.

The meat industry has particularly high requirements in regard to hygiene. NORD DRIVESYSTEMS will be presenting its drive solutions, specially optimised for this industry at the international trade fair for the processing, packaging and sale of meat and alternative proteins.

With the nsd tupH surface treatment , NORD has developed an economical alternative to stainless steel, making aluminium almost as corrosion resistant. This is not a coating, but a surface treatment where nothing can detach or flake off. The nsd tupH version is available for most of the aluminium products in the NORD modular drive system and is therefore ideally suited for hygienically sensitive applications in the food sector.

High system efficiency

The DuoDrive can also be delivered with the surface treatment. The innovative and patented geared motor in hygienic wash-down design integrates a high-efficiency IE5+ synchronous motor into a single-stage helical gear unit. This not only guarantees a compact size and minimal noise emissions but also high power density and overall high system efficiency.
