15th anniversary of the NORD subsidiary in Mexico

As a link between North and Central America, Mexico is one of the most important economic areas in the Americas. NORD DRIVESYSTEMS has been present in this emerging region with its own subsidiary since 12 October 2006.

The NORD subsidiary in Mexico was founded 15 years ago. Since 2015, the headquarters has been located in Querétaro in the Huimilpan region and takes care of sales, assembly and support of the NORD drive solutions in Mexico. In particular, the demand for FLEXBLOC® worm gear motors and NORDBLOC® helical in-line gear units quadrupled the number of installed and delivered gear units within five years until 2020. In the current year, new production cells for further UNICASE housing series will be put into operation to further shorten delivery times. There are plans to integrate more products and sizes into local production in the future. Managing Director Enrique Arista Gamiño and his 15 employees plan to further grow by 15% in the Mexican market each year and to double sales within five years. Querétaro is a logistically and strategically favourable location for this, since it is located right in the centre of Mexico and covers sales and service for important cities like Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterrey, where global companies have large subsidiaries.
