Decentralised instead of servo:

NORD drives for SYMACH

Asynchronous motors with decentralised NORDAC FLEX SK 200E frequency inverters are used in palletising machines of the Dutch machine manufacturer SYMACH. They control the complex motion sequences of the manipulator and the centring unit, which are used to place each product individually on pallets. The switch from the servo solution to the decentralised one created more space, facilitated maintenance and reduced the total cost of ownership.

The height of a palletising machine requires a staircase for maintenance work. The control cabinets for the servo controls obstructed access. Through conversion with compact NORD drive units, we were able to resolve this problem.
