Our interviews are designed to help us get to know each other. We want to learn about your experience, your skills, and what you're looking for in your next opportunity. Just as importantly, we want you to learn about NORD and determine whether we're the right fit for you.

To help you prepare:

• Review the job requirements and be ready to discuss relevant experience.
• Be prepared to explain your role and specific contributions to previous projects.
• Think about why you're interested in joining NORD and what makes you a strong fit for the position.
• Take time to learn about NORD DRIVESYSTEMS before your interview.
• Bring questions. We encourage open conversations and want to answer what's most important to you.

The first interview typically includes one HR representative and one or two members of the hiring department, such as the hiring manager or department head.

The final interview is usually conducted with divisional leadership and senior management or the head of Human Resources.

The initial video interview lasts approximately 30 minutes and focuses on getting to know one another and discussing the role.

The first in-person interview typically lasts about 60 minutes. If you'd like, you'll also have the opportunity to tour our facility afterward.

The final interview also lasts approximately 60 minutes.

The first interview is conducted virtually via video conference.

The remaining interviews are held in person at the applicable NORD location

Not usually. If we need you to bring anything specific, we'll let you know well before your interview.

The timeline varies depending on the position and department, but we strive to provide timely updates throughout the process.

In most cases, you'll receive a response within five business days after submitting your application. Once we've reviewed your qualifications, you'll receive a link to schedule your initial interview.

Additional interviews are arranged individually. We work to keep the hiring process efficient while taking the time needed to make thoughtful hiring decisions.

If there are any unexpected delays, your recruiter will proactively keep you informed.

The process is similar to our standard hiring process and includes four steps:

1. Submit Your Application

Apply online through our careers portal. Our HR team and the hiring department will review your application, and we'll typically respond within five business days.

2. Online Assessment

You'll be invited to complete an online assessment that helps us learn more about your interests, strengths, and qualifications.

3. In-Person Interview

During your interview, you'll meet with HR and a training supervisor from your chosen department. A second interview gives you the opportunity to meet the Training Manager and learn more about the location and program

4. Offer and Welcome to NORD

Once the works council has given its approval, we'll prepare your employment offer and send you the necessary documents. Once everything is signed, we'll be excited to welcome you to the NORD team.

Please note that internships and dual study programs begin on fixed start dates.

Generally, no. Applications are accepted as long as the position is posted. Please note that apprenticeships and dual study programs have fixed annual start dates.

There's no formal dress code. Wear something that feels comfortable, professional, and appropriate for the position you're applying for.
