Decentralised inverter with plug & play for lower power ranges

A new member of the decentralised drive electronics family: The NORDAC ON, frequency inverter meets the special requirements of horizontal conveyor technology and shows its advantages especially when combined with the new IE5+ synchronous motor.

With NORDAC ON, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS strengthens its leading position in the field of decentralised drive electronics. An integrated Ethernet interface, full pluggability and a very compact design make NORDAC ON, the compact, smart inverter for decentralised use in horizontal conveyor technology. Very practical: It is directly mounted on the drive housing and covers lower power ranges of up to 1.0 kW. This makes it the very economical plug-and-play solution for IIoT environments.

The new frequency inverter, which is expected to be available as a serial product in the fourth quarter of 2021, is planned to be launched in two versions with two sizes each: NORDAC ON, for operation with asynchronous motors , NORDAC ON+, in combination with IE5 synchronous motors . With their integrated Ethernet interfaces, the inverters are designed for integration into modern automation systems. Like all NORD frequency inverters, NORDAC ON, also has a high-performance PLC for processing the data of connected sensors and actuators – the prerequisite for condition monitoring.
