NORD DRIVESYSTEMS at Seafood Expo in Barcelona

For the first time, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS will be represented at Seafood Expo – the world largest trade fair for fish and seafood. The company will demonstrate how its NXD tupH® surface treatment provides aluminium drive solutions with effective protection against moisture and salt in seafood processing.

From 21 to 23 April 2026, Seafood Expo visitors can see the NORD drive components with hygienic design and NXD tupH® surface treatment for themselves. On site at Stand 1A605 in Hall 1: solutions from the NXD tupH® portfolio, which offer the seafood industry advantages in terms of system availability and (economic) efficiency. These solutions include:

• Fanless IE5+ synchronous motors , which ensure optimum overall system performance with their high efficiency
• The integrated DuoDrive gear unit/motor concept, which not only offers high system efficiency but also simple plug-and-play commissioning with short downtimes
• The decentralised NORDAC ON PURE, which was specially developed for hygienic applications and is also treated with NXD tupH

Lecture session on the first trade fair day

NORD will show which advantages are offered to users with the NXD tupH® surface treatment as part of a sponsored session on the first trade fair day. The solution provider will explain the technology behind the surface treatment and high-performance sealer and demonstrate how users of aluminium drives benefit from the particularly hard and smooth NXD tupH® surfaces.
