myNORD shop relaunches with improved user guidance

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS ’ online shop makes ordering even easier. New user guidance makes it easier for customers to find, configure and order the right parts.

At http://shop.nord.com , motors, frequency inverters and many other NORD products can be ordered 24/7. With just one click, customers can see whether their desired component is in stock. They can also find information on prices and estimated delivery times. Orders received before 12.00 pm can often be dispatched on the same day.

NORD has improved user guidance in a number of areas

Finding products is becoming easier:

  • The catalogues for stock products now display product relationships – compatible products for the selected gear unit, motor or inverter
  • Categories have been improved and filter options have been added
  • Data can be entered directly in several places
  • Within business accounts, users can share saved parts lists with one another and transfer products to their shopping carts with just one click – a significant advantage for repeat orders or regular servicing.

The ordering process takes less time.

  • The part number search feature allows to identify several parts and add them to the shopping cart in one go
  • Order lists can be uploaded directly to the shopping cart
  • Online customers have access to complete parts lists, ranging from small parts such as seals and bearings to gear units, electric motors and frequency inverters
  • The system automatically replaces products that are no longer available with a suitable alternative

All information regarding orders, order statuses and deliveries is available centrally via the myNORD portal.
