Information About This Apprenticeship at NORD

Do you enjoy solving computer and network challenges? As an IT Specialist apprentice at NORD, you'll learn how to plan, install, and support complex IT systems. Your training includes configuring and maintaining networks and IT equipment, assisting users with hardware and software issues, supporting IT infrastructure projects, and helping implement new applications.

The apprenticeship combines hands-on practical training with theoretical instruction. The practical phases take place at our headquarters in Bargteheide, while the 2 to 3 weeks of classroom sessions are held at the vocational school in Lübeck.

What to Expect at NORD

We place great importance on providing strong support throughout your apprenticeship. In addition to an apprenticeship coordinator who will serve as your primary point of contact, experienced trainers in our specialist departments will provide guidance and practical support throughout your training.

You'll become an important part of our teams and work in a collaborative environment where everyone is treated with respect. Through hands-on experience across different IT functions, you'll build valuable technical skills while working on a variety of real-world projects.

What We’re Looking For

  • A secondary school diploma or equivalent, or A-average, with strong grades in core subjects
  • A passion for IT and an interest in solving computer and network challenges
  • Experience using the Microsoft Windows operating system is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Initiative and the ability to work independently
  • Good English language skills
