Information About This Apprenticeship at NORD

During your apprenticeship as a Technical Product Designer, you’ll learn how to use the latest CAD software to transform design specifications into detailed drawings, technical plans, and documentation. You’ll also develop the skills to perform technical calculations, such as those required for material selection.

The apprenticeship combines practical experience at NORD with theoretical instruction. Your practical training will take place at our headquarters in Bargteheide, while the theoretical portion will be completed at vocational school.

What to Expect at NORD

We place great importance on providing strong support throughout your apprenticeship. In addition to an apprenticeship coordinator who will be available as your main point of contact, experienced trainers in the relevant departments will provide guidance and support as you develop your skills.

You’ll become an important part of our teams and work in a collaborative environment where everyone is treated with respect. Through your experience in different areas of the business, you’ll gain insight into a variety of tasks and discover how technical expertise contributes to our drive solutions.

What We're Looking For

Secondary school diploma or equivalent, or A-average, with strong grades in core subjects
Strong knowledge of mathematics and physics
Good spatial awareness
Precise and detail-oriented approach to work
Knowledge of English
Basic experience with Microsoft Office applications
A desire to learn, contribute, and make a difference as part of a team
