About the Mechanical Engineering Dual Study Program

This program provides a strong foundation in engineering disciplines, including mathematics, physics, engineering mechanics, and design. As your studies progress, you'll choose a specialization, such as design engineering, and apply your knowledge of materials, engineering design, and analytical methods to real-world projects at NORD.

As your skills and experience grow, you'll take on increasing responsibility while working independently on meaningful projects that support both your professional and personal development.

You'll also have the opportunity to complete selected practical assignments at one of our international locations.

What to Expect at NORD

We place great importance on providing strong support throughout your apprenticeship.or dual study program. In addition to a coordinator who will serve as your primary point of contact, experienced mentors in each department will provide guidance and practical support, helping you apply your classroom learning during every practical phase.

You'll become an important part of our teams and work in a collaborative environment where everyone is treated with respect. Through hands-on experience across multiple departments, you'll gain exposure to a variety of projects while building valuable technical and professional skills.

What We're Looking For

For the HAW program: A specialized university entrance qualification (Fachhochschulreife) or Abitur with strong grades in core subjects
For the TU Hamburg program: General university entrance qualification (Abitur)
A strong interest in mathematics and engineering
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Initiative, teamwork, and excellent communication skills
Good English language skills
