NORD enables virtual commissioning of its drive solutions

NORD now offers digital twins for system development. Based on a myNORD configuration, it is now possible to request individually created drive systems as simulation models. This allows engineers to verify early in the planning phase whether the drive concept is suitable for the system. Virtual commissioning significantly reduces the project time – even for complex systems.

NORDAC PRO SK 500P: Control cabinet series now up to 37 kW

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS extends the power of its NORDAC PRO SK 500P frequency inverters: The entire control cabinet series now covers a range from 0.25 kW to 37 kW. Furthermore, variants up to 160 kW are in preparation. This way, the system supplier can meet various requirements in different industries.

Frequency inverter production to be significantly expanded

Demand for NORD DRIVESYSTEMS frequency inverters is increasing to such an extent that the production facility in Aurich, northern Germany, needs to be expanded. NORD has been producing electronic drive components in Aurich since the 1980s, and it is the production site for all frequency inverters NORD supplies worldwide. The new building in Aurich is now nearing completion.
