Product Lifecycle Management

Product Lifecycle Management

Plan. Develop. Modernize.

To help you plan your systems reliably over the long term, we label all product generations with a lifecycle status. Here you can find out what the individual phases mean and which services are available at each stage.

Product Lifecycle at NORD DRIVESYSTEMS

In industrial systems, machines, and production lines, long-term availability and planning reliability are crucial. This is where structured Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) comes in. It provides transparency regarding a product’s status and forms the basis for reliable planning.

For OEMs, machine builders, and operators, a clearly defined product lifecycle means one thing above all: certainty. Certainty when designing new systems, making retrofit decisions, and avoiding unplanned downtime. At the same time, PLM enables early consideration of successor solutions before products are phased out or discontinued.

NORD DRIVESYSTEMS takes a transparent approach. The goal is to communicate product developments and discontinuations in a clear and traceable manner, and to provide clarity on the current status of a product at all times. That is why we clearly label our products with a lifecycle status of NEW, SERIES, PHASE OUT, or DISCONTINUED, directly on the relevant product page.

Here you will find all the information on the individual lifecycle phases of our products and learn what availability, services, and options you can expect in each phase.
