During the 80s NORD’s engineers developed the most important innovation in gear unit construction: the UNICASE concept for the geared motor – all elements of the gear unit are combined in a one-piece housing.
Constantly driven by the industry’s requirements we have continued the development of our MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear units for use in heavy-duty applications like blending or agitating.
Our Industrial gear units are characterised by high output torques, quiet running and a long service life. Within our innovative modular system the powerful MAXXDRIVE® gear units are combined with intelligent drive electronics and allow for product protecting processing in the food industry.
MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear units from NORD DRIVESYSTEMS guarantee reliable operation in mixing and agitation processes, even under extreme conditions. During the processing of large quantities of food our industrial gear units convince with reinforced bearings, double gear units and corrosion-resistant painting.
Using the configurable modular range of products from NORD we deliver our MAXXDRIVE® gear units with varying torques according to your requirements, efficient electric drives and programmable drive electronics. The topics variant reduction and TCO are a very important part in our consultation regarding the optimal drive solution.
Especially for the food industry a combination of a powerful MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear unit with intelligent drive electronics offers itself as the ideal solution. To resolve blockages, soft start for a product protecting processing and condition monitoring for predictive maintenance reduce efforts and improve performance.
For agitator applications, the MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear units can now also be equipped with a SAFOMI-IEC adapter. The SAFOMI adapter combines the functions of a standard IEC adapter and an oil expansion tank in one single component and leads to higher operational safety and lowers maintenance efforts.
