Tariff Surcharges

Due to recent changes in international trade policies and the implementation of new tariffs on imported goods, costs are increasing across all NORD product categories.

A temporary tariff surcharge of 15% will be applied to all products sold in the United States, effective September 9th, 2025.

This surcharge is necessary to offset a portion of the additional import costs and will be reviewed regularly as trade conditions evolve. NORD remains committed to transparency and will continue to seek ways to minimize the impact on our customers.

Frequency inverter production to be significantly expanded

Demand for NORD DRIVESYSTEMS frequency inverters is increasing to such an extent that the production facility in Aurich, northern Germany, needs to be expanded. NORD has been producing electronic drive components in Aurich since the 1980s, and it is the production site for all frequency inverters NORD supplies worldwide. The new building in Aurich is now nearing completion.
