The LogiDrive Basic drive solution consists of an IE3 asynchronous motor plus the decentralised NORDAC ON frequency inverter, combined with a gear unit from the NORD portfolio. The components are perfectly matched and meet all essential warehouse application standards.

High efficiency: LogiDrive Advanced

LogiDrive Advanced consists of a high-efficiency IE5+ synchronous motor, the decentralised NORDAC ON+ frequency inverter, which was specially designed for optimised control behaviour, and a gear unit from the NORD portfolio. The drive solution is perfectly matched to the requirements of warehouse logistics. The drive solution achieves its very high efficiency via large speed and load ranges, and allows for a variant reduction.

Assumption of up to 40% of the investment costs

The Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control ( BAFA , Germany) is funding investments in energy-efficient drives both for installation of new systems and conversion of existent ones. Up to 40 % of the investment costs are being covered.

Automation of warehouse conveyor technology

After investing in a fibre-optic laser cutting machine for profiles, Retech Sp. z o.o., which specialises in stainless steel solutions for the hotel and catering industry, was faced with the challenge of providing sufficient material for processing. Solutions from the Polish manufacturer of automatic storage and transport systems Baumalog Sp. z o.o. were used for the material supply.

Six geared motors with outputs from 0.75 kW to 3 kW from NORD, which are safely operated by NORDAC PRO frequency inverters, are used to automate the storage columns supplied by Baumalog and the loading and unloading stations. Baumalog has been using NORD drive solutions in its warehouse automation solutions for many years. The company sees the advantages of NORD frequency inverters and geared motors in their high efficiency, absolute reliability, low-noise operation, wide range of variants and simple installation.
