myNORD is the central customer portal from NORD. The online tool offers a practical and quick support in collaboration and simplifies the joint business processes. It is used by customers worldwide.

For this reason, NORD is expanding its myNORD customer portal into a comprehensive e-commerce platform.

EDI – Electronic Data Interchange

EDI is the paperless, electronic data exchange between different companies. For the electronic transfer, the data is structured and formatted according to uniform international standards. The data contains detailed information on products and processes.

Available process types

NORD supports the connection to customers via an EDI interface for the electronic transmission of the following process types:

  • Incoming orders (ORDERS)
  • Outgoing order response (ORDRSP)
  • Outgoing despatch advices (DESADV)
  • Outgoing invoices (INVOIC)

Other processes are checked and implemented upon request.

EDI has the following advantages:

  • Avoidance of multiple entry of already existing data and thus any entry errors
  • Automatic processing of incoming data
  • Fast information sharing and thus shorter processing times
  • Data transfer via a uniform and standardised interface, independent of the manufacturer
