The new MAXXDRIVE XD®

With the new MAXXDRIVE® XD series, NORD completes its proven range of MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear units specifically for lifting gear applications. Thanks to the extended centre distance of the MAXXDRIVE XD®, the economic and tailor-made dimensioning of lift drives for crane applications is further improved. The installation space is used optimally, making it possible to reduce the weight of the drive by up to 60%.

Lifting gear drives

The MAXXDRIVE® XD and MAXXDRIVE® G1050 series with output torques of up to 282,000 Nm are suitable for use as industrial gear units for large lifting gears with heavy loads. For smaller lifting gears, the comprehensive NORD geared motor portfolio with parallel shaft, bevel or helical geared motors provides the perfect drive solution for all requirements.

Travel drives

The comprehensive NORD portfolio offers the right drive solution for all installation situations and torque requirements of crane and trolley drives. The gear units are equipped with maintenance-friendly UNICASE housings; the motors meet all international standards. Painting and sealing systems are designed for harsh environmental conditions.

Handling systems

NORD also has suitable drive solutions for handling systems in the heavy duty sector. Powerful and reliable drive systems for lifting gears, positioning units and lifting tables can be generated from the NORD modular system. They are used, for example, in material handling of metals or paper or with container storage systems.
