During the 80s, NORD’s engineers developed the most important innovation in gear unit construction: the UNICASE concept for the geared motor – all elements of the gear unit are combined in a one-piece housing.

Less is More - the New SAFOMI Adapter

For agitator applications, the MAXXDRIVE® industrial gear units can now also be equipped with a SAFOMI-IEC adapter. The SAFOMI adapter combines the functions of a standard IEC adapter and an oil expansion tank in one single component and leads to higher operational safety and lower maintenance efforts.
